haha, I wasn't going to say anything at first but after the pic was posted it confirmed that's what it was.. Either way cool idea, but I think you are right in just offering the brackets since you can buy those rings for probably $15 to $20 bucks.. The only thing I am wondering is, how well the wires hooked up to the rings will handle the voltage from the cars electrical..it may toast those wires and blow out the ring.. How did you hook yours up to test it?

We really do need that!! That case it would look like the new Camaros RS package halos because you would be able to see the halos while the lights were on... Right now when my halos are on the headlights overpower them and you cant see both which sucks..

Yes it will, not dramatically, but it will. I bet most people on this thread won't care because of the "bling" factor.
They are intended to be run off the 12v rail on a PC power supply and have voltage regulators in them. I have 2 CCFL tubes in my trunk for lighting (since there wasn't any light there stock) and they are fine. The CCFL tubes you can get at an auto-parts store are overpriced versions of PC CCFL tubes. You can get a PC CCFL tube for $5 - $10, but they are $20 at an auto parts store. The only thing I've noticed, regardless of PC or Auto CCFL tube, the ones in my trunk don't light fully all the way across if the car has sat overnight, and the engine is off. They light about 85% - 90% across. If the engine is running they are fine. If the car was just turned off, they are fine. In my case, I think the problem is not the CCFL tubes, but the wires I tapped into for power. I have to check to see if those wires are actually getting full battery voltage (12v) when the car is off.

nice, those seem like the right thing to use that come with the inverter but i still dont see how that is going to work. They are right from a computer fan, you can see all the connections.

I'm not sure if I want to use them though because of the 4 mounting points, looks a little "Terminator" like right now...
HOWEVER, I chose these BECAUSE of the mounting points (easier to design a bracket for them)...
Then again, with the lens on it probably won't be as noticeable...
I may start this over to do a poll but for now let's just get a count in the thread...
Which option would you prefer:
1) Full kit. 4 Halos and Brackets total (2 for each light).
2) Half kits. 2 Halos and 2 Brackets total. You can split it and wire it so it is one for each light or you can buy 2 sets using one set per headlight.
3) Sell just the brackets and you figure the rest out...
Let me know

I would do a full kit with brackets, and the half kit with brackets. Then for the hater that do not like the idea nothing. I think for halos would look sick on a black car.
I have to call the tint company that put the film on my head lights to see if I can bake to open the capsules before I really go any farther.

People can use it to just put in one halo per side or buy two of them to have four total.

Personally, the way I feel is, who cares if it's from a pc or not? How much could that little ring, especially most of it being transparent, actually cut down on your lighting? It would be so minute you couldn't even notice.
Good idea mark, good luck!
