Default New Halo Kit for Stock Camaro headlights...

So, I LOVE the way Halos (the ring itself) look but personally HATE every aftermarket headlight out there for 1998-2002 Camaros.

I LOVED having Halos on my car because I had them come one with the nitrous was on so the car looked posessed

I COULDN'T STAND the way they looked though (flush mount almost) and LOVE LOVE LOVE the way stock headlights look when the lenses are clean and the headlights have full Whistler mod (the way I have them now)

However, when the 2010 Camaro came out and the RS Package had Halos something inside of me wouldn't rest until I figured out a solution... So I did

I am making a kit so you can add Halo rings to your stock headlights. I just started it today but here's the prototype pics...

Looks pink in pics but red in person (I'll offer many different colors). Original plan was just the one but I'm thinking one over each light might look cool as well.

This is all I had time for right now but later I will Whistler mod the headlight and take more pics...

MAJOR THANKS GOES OUT TO ROCNDAV as these are his headlights that he let me have FOR FREE to play with

The finished product will mount with a stainless steel bracket so that it will be invisible against the chrome (those who Whistler mod their lights can paint just the bottom of the bracket as well keeping the top stainless to match the back of the bucket that stays chrome) .

Thoughts so far?

AWESOME. i wanted to do this with mine but wasn't brave enough to modify my only headlights. i would LOVE to do this to my car. you think the finished product will look more like a complete ring, or is there no way to get around that gap between the ends of the ring?

that sounds like a great idea. i have the halos in mine and i changed them to red but when the headlights are on u cant see the halo at all.

the only problem with these that i can see is that they probably wont be able to be seen unless the headlights were off. if they were in the highbeam area then they'll work better but might look wierd there, idk, just my .02. good work tho.

I will have the gap at the top but there is no way (that I know of it no gap. I actually am considering INCREASING the gap to half an inch or an inch. It would be at the top BUT at a slant (towards the inside) to give it more of a menacing look

Nice, may make me go back to my stock headlights and do the whistler mod to them.. Although my aftermarket halo's fit pretty well, compared to some i've seen I do like the look of the stock headlight.. How do these attach to the electrical?

^^You can splice into factory wiring or run your own switch, they would be just like Halo headlights...

I think I'll be ready to sell by Friday. $100 shipped should be doable for GPs (when I can order the rings in bulk). Other wise normal price will be $125 shipped.

That is worst case scenario. If the stainless brackets are cheaper than I am planning on (which I'm planning high to be safe) then the price will come down...

that would was my next suggestion and i think would work great, you'll just have to play around with it and get us pictures of them on a car ...preferably a sunset orange one with orange halos
