Default Chrome spray painted radiator shroud, yes or no?

I've painted my radiator shround "Chrome" was wondering does this look ok or, should i go back to black?

Gotta agree here, that Chrome spray paint looks so cheap.. IMO you should never spray paint from a can.. Just spend the few extra bucks and have some professionally do it.. or go through the entire prep process and buy one of those condensed throw away spray guns that give you an almost professional spray. Most spray from a can never comes out good. But again prep is 80% of your final finish so you could pull it off with a can if done correctly.

take the stickers off too.. don't paint over them lol.

Thanks everyone for feedback. This is a extra shroud i had laying around thought id just mess with it.

i agree pre-process makes a difference, I spent 5 minutes on it.

That wasnt a sticker i painted over it was actually what was left from the sticky stuff under the lables, couldnt get that clean enough.

Yeah, ^ thats what I used. All I did was take the stickers off and goo gone... And left it.

you need to spray a clearcoat over that then wetsand it

Back to black..... plus that "chrome alike" won't last looking the way it looks on the picture.....

The orginal radiator shroud on my car is still Black so im not really worried this one is just an extra one im messing with gonna see what i can do to make it look better with out spending much.
