1996 Trans Am

cleaned her up today, took a few pics. tell me what you think!

i love when black is clean

the paint is in great condition for having 152k miles on it. all stock, auto. ive got a borla catback and a cutout sitting in my garage waiting to go on

looks good. reminds me of my car when it was stock. except that i had painted wheels and not chrome. those are 16's right?

nah, those are 17's. im pretty sure all the stock chrome wheels are 17's, and the stock painted ones are 16's.

Looks clean, but those are 16's. Check your tire, they will say 2XX/XX/16 (the x's are your tire measurements).

hmm i guess your right. i measured from lip to lip on the rim, and it measured out to 17" so i just figured they were 17s.

nope. they offered them in 16's. i've seen them on a 96 non WS6 T/A and i have a friend who has an 02 silver non WS6 T/A that came with chrome 16's stock. IIRC they were an upgrade over the twisties on the 98-02 and an upgrade over the regular painted wheels on 96-97
