Chrome Z06 Wheels on their way. What to polish with?
Haven't had chrome wheels since the mid 80's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Right now I have some Never Dull and Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish. What do I need to use to keep these babies lookin' nice? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Actually, IMO....there's no need to "polishi" chrome. I'd just put on alight coat of Zaino when you wax the rest of the car. Mother's on my old 5 spokes made tons of very fine scratches, which effectively dulled the finish a little.

Whoa! Definitely don't use those harsh Metal Polishes on a Chrome and most likely Clear Coated Wheel. Believe it or not.. Soap and Water and the occasional wax or polish of your choice.
NeverDull is actually pretty abrassive and would have dulled the finish IMHO but don't let htat stop you from using it on raw metals because it works great there!

I just use soap and water just like on the rest of the car, and when the wheel is dry just buff it with a dry terry towel. believe it or not that buffing with just the towel shines em up real good. Good luck bro...

Thanks for the heads up. Guess that means the Z-1 and Z-2 treatment then.
I've been using the Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish on the stainless steel exhaust tips. Maybe I should stop?

hmmm I might try the Mother's Chrome Polish and save the Zaino for the paint. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> If not on Chrome, what exactly can I use the Mother's mag and aluminum polish for?

Give them the full Zaino treatment every now and then, but just touch them up with Z6. It works and looks great!
