I give these guys much more respect than the import shows I've seen. With few exceptions, there is tons of cars with mismatched panels, stupid giant wings and sad installation of stereo equiptment at import shows. The DUB or DONK cars are usually well presented and the owners take alot of pride in them, akin to the Lowrider car clubs. While it's not my style, it takes alot of love for your car to pay out the teeth for some of those paint jobs and wheels and be sure most of these guys don't live in their mom's basement and max out her credit car on the JC Whitney catalog.
of course, the chrome bull's *****....well...that's another story....lol.

Dude we were trying to make as few waves as possible! Like I said though it was so funny because it was like all of them just went out of their way to be nice to us. The little kids kept asking us if we were rich!!! ROFLMAO!!!!

Dude, get over it. People have different tastes. It's actually more respectful than the import crowd.
If you didn't like the event, you shoulda went home and not stick around and waste your whole day jus' to take pics and post up on LS1Tech. I also believe that you weren't the cocky, insulting person at the event as you are exhibiting here.

The OP went out of his way to say that everyone was very nice, that he was glad he went, and even that his wheels looked cheap compared to others. He's said nothing negative, only positive. He's done a great job of showcasing another style of car crowd.

Honestly, it wasn't bad and something we had to "stick out"....we had a great time. And I got Best Domestic and Best Engine...and I talked to allot of guys that knew more about cars than I do at most of the other shows I go to.

Welcome to the Bay Area, we have these all over the streets. I have seen McDonalds cars, Skittles, Milky Way, Starburst, all of them. a lot of people have the donks around here, especially when your in oakland. 26's and all i think they look cool cause they remind me of the hot wheels cars, the ones with the small body's and gigantic rims.

I liked that Brownish GMC/Chevy Pick Up, Reminded me of my old 2003 Sierra Denali. Except my Truck was Emerald Green, Black Rims with Chrome Lip, Rhino Lined truck bed and bottom panels, Vortec SC, Quadra Steer. I miss that truck, I really do. My little brother wrapped it around a tree a couple of winters ago.
