ROFLMAO...Pics from the Car Show We Went to Sat!!! OK...Let me say right off Cecilia does not get to pick out the shows we go to ANYMORE!!!! ROFLMAO
Actually the flyer and web page for this show (Summerfest 2009) looked pretty cool (and I admit, I found it!), so we descided to make the 2hr drive up to Macon for it. We knew something wasn't right when we had to get off the interstate in the "bad part of town." We started to leave after we got there but the lady putting it on begged us to stay so we did! Needless to say we didnt exactly blend in BUT we had allot of fun and EVERYBODY was very nice and friendly to us!
The only show I have ever been too where CCWs were looked down on as cheap....

That is hilarious. 
Honestly, though? I have a new respect for that crowd. I always see the street versions and despise "Donk" and all that ****. But some of those cars are downright stunningly beautiful. Not my style at all, mind you, and my car would have been laughed out of there, but still. If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right!
If I were you, I don't think I would have put out the little sign.
We need to see pics of you and Cecilia to see just how out of place you were!

All the cars look good other than the wheels,and i dont mind the alligator interior for some reason lol.but i have a quick question maybe someone could answer,those lowrider cars,ive seen some that basically come completely apart if u know wat i mean,how do they do that they kinda look like a transformer lol

They just take the wheels off and put mirrors under the entire car so that you can see how the chromed or painted the entire car. Take a closer look and you can see how not one part of their car is untouched.

I give these guys much more respect than the import shows I've seen. With few exceptions, there is tons of cars with mismatched panels, stupid giant wings and sad installation of stereo equiptment at import shows. The DUB or DONK cars are usually well presented and the owners take alot of pride in them, akin to the Lowrider car clubs. While it's not my style, it takes alot of love for your car to pay out the teeth for some of those paint jobs and wheels and be sure most of these guys don't live in their mom's basement and max out her credit car on the JC Whitney catalog.
of course, the chrome bull's *****....well...that's another story....lol.
