Hey guys. Sorry if I'm digging up an old thread. I have a 1994 Camaro and I'm wanting to do the gauge cluster, map lights, dome light, HVAC, and headlight switches all in cool white. Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to do this. I know I need 4410 Festoons for my map lights. Other than that, I'm lost. help is greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has pics of LED's in a 1993-1996 Camaro, I'd love to see how it turned out.

Let me start off by saying that Sylvania site is wayyyy off and would recommend doing some searches beyond just using that list. Here is what worked for my 97.

Dome: 4410-CWHP9 Rigid Loop Festoon (the clips have to be bent with needle nose pliers to fit correctly, and the LEDs shine toward the back of the car and not down which is too bad)
Map: 2X 4410-CW9 Festoon (be very careful pulling these out because the base might come loose)
Glove compartment: 194
Rear Markers: 194
Rear License Plate: 194 base (WLED-x5)
In the door (courtesy): 74-W (wouldnt recommend doing these as the space is so small and the angle does not allow for any light)

I would highly recommend doing the MAPs and the Dome. Its probably one of the best mods I have done for the money. All in all with shipping, it was around $25.00.

EDIT, See results below. For some reason the digital camera turn its blue. Its not blue at all, but a pure white light so dont be scared to order pure white like I did.

I forget what brightness I went with but you can get some brighter ones. Also when doing these mae sure the LED is facing straight up so the light points to the writing on the buttons.
Here are some photos I took with my phone just to give you an idea of what the steering wheel lights look like.. I should have used brighter LEDs but these were more of a project.

I have a question since Its hard to find a solid answer. I want to replace a few of my lights to LED's. For the map lights / dome lights I love how the stock setup does the dimming. Is there a set of LED's that will have the same effect.

I see the recommended ones from superbright leds on here a bunch, but will they do that?

Hey guys I need some help. I ordered a full interior set of LED lights and i got the rears (convertible) put in. Now I'm at the map lights in the mirror and i need to figure out what needs to be done to the new bulbs to get them to work?

I have the 4410-CW9 x2 and i read that you need to take the caps off the old bulbs and somehow put them on the new lights? I need to clear up wheather or not you're suppose to slip the old caps over the new or swap them? If anyone has further details, please do share! Thanks

Just put the lense covers back over them. I just installed mine and they look awesome. Good list; I read about the Festoons, went on superbrightleds.com and ordered them and that was that.

im going to be ordering leds for my lights. I went through the pages a couple times to make sure im ordering the right bulbs but I want to triple check. The car is a 94 trans am t-top and I want to replace mirror lights, dome light, and the lights in the door panel for the switches (I know I have to drill the red lense out).
heres the list
-mirrors: 4410-x9 (2)
-dome: RL4410-xHP9 (1)
-doors: T1.5-xHP (2) <--- Not sure if thats the right LED number had a hard time looking for the 74 bulb

Small thread bump.

I will post pictures tonight, but i switched out my gauge cluster and HVAC with Red LEDs for my TA, and it made a HUGE difference. No longer looks pinkish, especially the HVAC (which was very dim on the left side and the bulb was good)

Rear View Mirror - 2 of 4410x9 Festoon LED Bulbs
Direct replacement for stock bulbs. They are a lot easier than trying to rip the mirror apart to fit boards in there.
These are most definitely NOT the right ones for a 2002 Trans-AM...

I made this mistake and found out the hard way... For models NOT Trans-AM they are the 4410 (as stated above) HOWEVER, for Trans-Ams they are wedge lights (194) NOT FESTOON

Looks like I have to place another order...

So I have two perfectly good 4410 lights (unused) if anyone wants them... Just figured I would save the headache for some other people out there...
