I have found some cheap HID conversion kits too...it could be that the cost of production has fallen since HIDs came out; here is a link to HID kits for $40:

Sparky...did you have any problems with fitment or leaking...i know some people have had issues with their projectors "bouncing" around because they didn't fit all that well, any of these issues on your ride?

They fit OK. Not quite as good as stock but they aren't too hard to adjust to make them fit. No leaks either. Only issue I've had is the rubber weather stripping isn't as good as the OEM stuff so it is starting to crack on me a bit, but not too noticeable.
HumanNipple, Not sure what you're referring to about flappy plastic

I guess my big picture question comes down to this...is there a drastic difference in quality of the headlights that I linked in my original post to other aftermarket projector headlights found when you do a search online??? I know the old saying "You get what you pay for" but the prices vary so much on these things depending on which day you happen to do your seach...are they all equal???

I may replace my weather stripping with what cobrahunter used, that looks like it came out pretty good.

I have the headlights as well, and they actually fit really well IMO. Light output with the HIDs is really nice too (got my HID kit from DDM). As stated, the only thing that is suspect is the weather stripping, but that's really the only thing that isn't quite up to par with them.
Overall, I was impressed with the quality for the price. I'm usually pretty picky about that kinda stuff, and they are staying on my car. They look way better than the stock headlights.

yeah i have the weather stripping already coming off the front of my passenger side headlights. My passenger side headlight doesn't fit as good as the driver side for some reason and the light output isn't as great either.

I know you probably already checked, but make sure the adjustment screw can clear the bracket on the car - when I went to install mine, the threaded rod kept getting caught on this bracket instead of passing through the hole in the bracket, causing all sorts of problems.

im gonna take a pic and see what you guys think. The passenger side projector isn't straight, its straight a bit and then angles down. Also theres to much i think yellow on the cutoff as well. Im gonna check some stuff when i have time, but i know the alignment at least is off for the passenger side light at least if you just look at where both headlights meet the hood. Ill get some pics.
