hey guys i cant figgure out for the life of me what the name of the color of my car is.. the most i could find out about it was it was a color offerd in 98 to compeet with the cobra camelion colors. here are a few pics im sorry i dont have a really good picture of the color... it looks like a jade green with a clear blue over coat. in direct light it looks the green (sig pic back end pic) but in the shade it looks teal.. its realy weard i love it. if you guys know please tell me what its called.

I think it was called Bluie-Green Metallic. Its a rare color, although not as rare as the purple.

yeah, i got ahold of someone at gm and they sed they knew of the color but its designated as camelon gr. in the books but thats not the offical name for it. its kinda cool because they also sed that only 32 formula hard tops ls1 m6 cars with that color were made in 98.

there is blue green chameleon, but that color does not look to be that...

according to 98 production charts, that is the only color available, but the pics make it look bright, and it is not a bright green.

im not sure?

his pics with the "brighter green" -look, make the paint look VERY similiar to "GM Fairway Green" (96-97 S-series color)

its weard the bright green pics are in direct sunlight and in the shade it looks blue. the color is metallic green (no hints of gold flec) with what looks to be a blue tinted clear coat. its realy weard ive run into 2 other guys on this sight with the same color and all our pictures look diffrent.its weard its like the color (in pictures)changes with lighting conditions. im almost dead nuts shure that it is blue green chameleon

ended up getting a pm form some one and also another person posed about the same question about there 98 'camaro. it does apper to be blue green chamelion

i used to know someone with a color similar to yours and he said it was mystic? probably doesnt help but i thought id just throw that out.

On pontiacs it was called "Blue-Green Chameleon", on Camaros it is "Mystic Teal". They are the same color.
