Zymol > Zaino
Well my ZFX dried up so I couldn't start the Formula with its first Zaino process. So I dawned it and tried the Zymol my mom bought thinking it was Zaino (at least she tried). Well the process was awesome, you put it on and take it off almost immediatly then lighty spray the area with a water bottle and wipe it again. I'm pretty happy with the results!
74,000 miles on the paint and I doubt the previous owner even thought about waxing it.

Looks great! I also want to try the Zaino, but my black 98 Z28 was needing a bath after the week fo commuting. So I decided to try the Clay Magic and Zymol I have. I used Dawn on the initial wash, then used the Clay Magic Bar, washed her again with the Zymol car wash, and then did 2 coats of the Zymol. She looks awesome! So if the matter holds true of how much better Zaino is, I can't wait to try it! I also can't believe how much the clay pulled of the surface! Here I thought I kept her clean. The paint is so smooooth!

Since when is Zaino better than Zymol? How many concours de'legance have been won with Zaino (hint: 0) versus Zymol (hint: alot)
Now if we are talking the zymol you get at the auto parts store, well yes, Zaino is better than that, but for the equivalent $80 that you would spend on the full zaino kit, $80 spend on Zymol (the REAL Zymol stuff - ordered online), a dark colored car looks deeper, shinier, and glossier (IMHO).

What did you mean when you said your ZFX dried up????
To me the look of Zaino is far better than the look of any carnauba, including the better Zymol. But everyone should use what THEY like.
When it comes to durability and protection, Zaino is it.

What's this new tropi-care stuff? Haven't heard of it?
Yes, for durability and protection (and a mirror-bright shine), zaino is fantastic.
I prefer a deeper, wetter look myself.
Does anyone have any info on this tropi-care? The name of it reminds me of lusso oro, another very good wax that has a "tropical" branding strategy.
Keep us posted.

Ya it got real crusty so that really sucked. I really want to try the tropi-care product because of how easy it is to apply and how deep and wet it is supposed to make the paint look. I'll let yall know how it is and I will post some comparison pictures of it on the SS since it already has Zaino on it and I don't mind redawning it to try the tropi-care!

They only time I've heard of the ZFX drying up was because the top wasn't on tight enough. I always double check to make sure the cap is on tight AND place it into the applicator bottle with the blue cap to help ensure it won't dry up and so I don't loose it.
