C5 Slammed!

C5 Slammed!
Well yesterday I got one of my PFADT coilovers back from repair, my fault on the break. Install error. Anyways, PFADT upgraded my coilovers to the newer upper mounting/bushing system they use. Well when I tossed the front back on, the adjustments were set up differently and the car sat lower than before. So when I put the car on the ground, the front was simply slammed! I had to take some pictures! I actually drove it around a bit like this.... hit the fattdaddys frequently, haha. It's since been raised up a tad :smash:
Enjoy!
^^^^ I already have 1" trimmed off the airdam

put it in first and let the clutch out! I drove it around like this actually. The rear is set where it has always been. The front just dropped a bit more when adding the spherical upper bushing given it a raked stance (normally level). Where as not optimal and would be hard getting up/out of curbed places, it is still very driveable as it sits above. My rocker panels have skid plates, my front frame rails have fattdaddy rollers, the entire car is protected. The front has sicne been lifted up a tad to level (very slight rake) so I can get up/out of curbed places easier. Vette drive very well slammed, plus the coilovers make the ride even smoother than stock, best mod I've done yet!

i woulda left it like that. Im sure a slammed vette is still 100x easier to drive than a moderatley lowered WS6. I drove a slammed Zo6 and it was like my lifted duramax campared to my WS6 LOL!

Thanks! That is one of my favorite parts about this car. The only thing I ever hit with the car this low is my front rollers, which they are there for that reason! Only going up or out steep curbed places I touch the rollers, but thats it and thats what they are there for. I don't think I've ever even touched the side rocker skid plates I put on! And there is nothing hanging under the car. I think there might be enough light out now to still take a picture of his it sits for good. Let me run out real quick!

BARELY enough light. Here's how it sits now, just this touch higher makes a big driveability difference!

They are literally wheels (rollers) that bolt to the front frame rails. Therefore it is the lowest part of the car up front so whenever the front end is going to hit, it hits the rollers and rides them not causing any damage or further scraping They rock!
