Anyone think it is a cardinal sin to paint the engine bay a color other than the body color of the car? Im thinking a black engine bay, but im not sure how it will look with my NBM. The engine bay of my car needs a lot of TLC to say the least.

I've started on my Trans Am couple day's ago. I understand how to get the harness out on the passenger side. How do I disconnect the harness on the driver's side under the brake booster? Hoping I don't have ta pull the dash apart. Of course a 10 pt cage is probably going in so I may have to anyway. Any ideas?

Got my car back from the painter. Put in a few things so far and then I decided I wanted to paint the brake master reservoir so I pulled that off and painted it as well. Motor/trans should be going in this weekend hopefully.

The powerplant. I painted a bunch on this as well

Is it possible to do this with a spray gun, or are you guys using rattle cans? I really want to do this but I prefer to use a spray gun.

I finally got around to doing this last night. It didnt come out as nice as I would of liked because where I filled the holes on the passenger side where the wires were looks kind of rough. I will get some pictures up this weekend. Its deffinetly a worth while mod and looks alot better than how the factory left it.

mine is in the shop being repainted, he's going to get all the holes filled in where I did the wire mod, and spray the engine bay as well, hope it turns out as sweet as those above

I did mine with rattle can, painters tape/paper, foil, and some old sheets. Here is a before and after pic. What do you guys think??!

Before: After cleaning/removing all the damn Ziebart the previous owner had. (He never drove it during the winter, so why the hell did he get it in the first place!)

After: All wire looms were replaced as well due to having rustproof crap all over them.
