Ok so I have a pewter Ws6 and I WANTED to get some charcoal/gunmetal/dark grey looking ram air stripes.. I thought that fourth circle designs "charcoal metallic" would be the way to go.. BUT once I got them on my car they are much darker and have a strange BLUE tint?? im pretty sure im not goin crazy.. does anybody else see what im talking about?? if anybody has pics of the color i wanted thatd be great..Ive seen several pics of the so called "Charcoal Metallic" from fourth circle and it seems like everyone looks different?

the charcoal is a bit darker than what i was expecting to see, but that blue tint you mention is strange, i dont see it in my charcoal vinyl

definitely an odd looking "charcoal metallic". if your not happy, im pretty sure you can remove vinyl stripes without much of a problem. i dont have any experience with fourthcircle, but i have bought 2 sets of stripes from 3rdgendecals.com. perfection every time, once for the camaro, and just recently for my checkered flag style ws6 hood stripes. i used to have some side flag stripes on my camaro. they were either charcoal metallic (pretty sure), or dark charcoal metallic. heres a pic so you can get an idea of the color i got, and an idea of what the darker version they sale would look like.

ive had nothing but great experiences with fourth circle, your pictures absolutely suck so i can't make a valid opinion on your charcoal with a blueish tint. My decals were all black as though, and they were perfect

well im not bashing fourthcircle.. his business is fine quick delivery and the stripes fit correctly.. the color is just way off in my opinion.. and this isnt the first post ive seen about colors being off from fourthcircle.. idk i was just wondering if anyone else thought this color seemed odd.

I think it looks pretty good, but I don't really see the blue tint you are talking about.

i do agree that it is an odd looking color compared to what would be expected, but i do have to agree with redfbird99, the pictures dont really do the stripes, or the car any justice. i cant even tell what color your car is, it looks pewter, but i cant really tell. i think you should try to get some pics with more color clarity so people can get a better idea of what your working with.

Yeah i'd recommend third gen decals. I have their dark charcoal metallic checkered ram air stripes waiting to go on. Btw, crimson bird, do you have any pics of the ram air stripes applied onyour car?

ya when i was doing some research on black bird strips b4 i bought mine, i read on some thead that someone else was complaining about the "blue tint". you can prob do a search and read more about it. i love my black ones. maybe call them up and maybe they will send you another color.
