Let's see F-bodies lowered with Sam Strano Springs
Well guys, I plan on lowering my car next Spring and have decided I probably want Sam Strano springs.
I would like to see your guys cars that have them.
Also, specify what shocks you are running. I plan on going w/ the KYB AGX shocks.
Post up boys!

look at the car in my sig thats with strano springs.
also if I was you I would go with koni shocks.
i had kyb's on my car at first and then i changed over to konis and day and night difference.
so do it once and do it right.

I would go w/ Konis, but being 18 and only having a part time job, it's kinda hard to afford Konis, otherwise I would.
I was thinking about going w/ Bilstein HD's if I didn't go w/ KYB. My step-dad has those on his 30th Ann. SS and it rides pretty nice.
Edit: I totally did a search before I posted this and I definitely did NOT see that thread.

Strano springs and Konis give f-bods the PERFECT stance. I wish I had the money for Konis *sigh*
And crimson, this thread is slightly different since in that one they didn't ask for the shocks they are running

if you can try to get rear konis and kyb agx in the front. you should be happy with that.
thats what I had on my ws6 and it was real good. kyb's in the rear sucked.

This sounds like a good idea. I was about to order AGX's also. Konis just aren't in the budget right now. I need to replace the rear shocks now though...any suggestions on a "cheap" rear to run for a while until I can replace the rears with Konis? Maybe the GR2s or Gas-a-justs for the rear? I am still planning on AGXs in the front.

The AGXs are nice my buddy has them. I am riding on Stranos with De Carbons. The ride isn't bad at all but my car has under 85k....
I've rode in a car with Konis as well....you can feel a difference but from day to do you could get by on De Carbons until you have the money for shocks. You could also just get the AGXs and Springs and be set.

These are on Stranos with Bilstein shocks. Like you I Couldnt afford the Konis but either way the Bilsteins are far better than stock. I got my shocks from Summit for like 300-350 bucks I think for the set of 4 (not the SLP ones). They will work nice until I can upgrade them later.

Save your money and get the Bilsteins or Konis. I'm going with the Koni's when I start getting regular paychecks again.
