Much cleaner.

Please explain the "home made valve covers". I am interested as to how that was done.

well I know some people are gonna doubt this and say it dosent work and will crack but they have been on my car for about 125 miles and they still look great.. I sanded the stock ones and took bondo(body filler) and filled in the top sanded then primed then drilled the holes then painted base/clear.I have pictures if you want I can up load them...

I agree...with the time and talent it took to do those valve covers, the wire mod should be a walk in the park.

I would like to do the wire mod but I dont know how I feel about drilling a hole in my car

Same here. I about stopped when I was halfway done cuz I didn't want to hurt the car anymore..then I realized that there is already a hole there so I had to finish. Lol.

As far as advice, just don't let your head get in the way. Just drill the damn hole and don't think twice about it. Its worth it, trust me.

so I did it today came out really good ill post up some pictures. It was defiantly worth it!

I thought about doing that too, but I've never touched bondo, and just said screw it.

If anything I'll buy those ebay polished covers for $100 and paint them.
