LED 3rd Brake Light Anyone buy one of these?
Ebay I've seen have the following colors for the High-rise hatch.
Black, Smoked, Chrome, Silver for lens color.
I've got a 2000 BSM Firebird with a high-rise hatch.
Here's my logic.
A chrome third brake light would look tacky me thinks (chrome on silver).
A silver one could look great if it matched my hatch (color match).
It could also look like a wannabe chrome and look mix-matched.
A smoked/black one could look cool, since I'm planning on putting a decal on it, and instead of having a black vinyl on top of red lens that would show pieces of red vs black on black might look cleaner. Only flaw with having a black lens is I get that "hole" look. As in at certain angles it looks like somethings missing. (picture blacked out sidemarkers on a white car)
I do plan on putting a decal overlay. I just considered the LED light because it'd be brighter and emit more light through the decal.
Any pics would be great!

I got a smoked one and then blacked it out with nightshade to a nice gloss black. I'll get pics for you when i come home on friday, I get alot of compliments on it though.

Judging by the close-up pictures he has these as his reverse lights. I had a whole set of them delivered to me last week for my WS.6, I'm replacing my brake lights, reverse lights and the DRLs with these LED lights.

This is straight from superbrightleds website..
