What method are you using?

I've had very similar results wet sanding with 1200, then 2000, then buffing, then waxing.

The truck gets pretty abused, regularly, I just one stepped with a heavy polishing pad via rotary with a 3M compound...

The car received the same...

I've done quite a few... basically they are all the same.... You can do a wetsanding procedure and make them "perfect"....

Any detailer can fix them, might call a few detailing shops around you. It shouldn't be that expensive, as its really not that hard.

I used a 3M lense renewal kit.

They came out looking like new, although I now see I did not get very close up with the picture, you get the idea.

The lenses I worked on are plastic.

The 3M compound I used was standard rubbing compound in the grey plastic bottle, its just some cheap stuff I picked up at Autozone so I wouldn't waste my Menzerna and Meguiars on playing around...

Those are just some 46" Military tires for the street. That truck was an old 2wd 6cyl farm truck...

Still has the old 6 in it... and does pretty damn well.
