Here are mine which is a bad pic, they are much more visible during the day than how the pic came out. At night they're pretty close match to the stock red dash lights (slightly more orange than stockers but it looks great).

Obviously, the car has been sitting for awhile, so its dirty. and I havent finished the gauge install, so you can see the silicon I used to mount the gauge mount still. but that will be covered up.
As you can see I angled the gauges toward the driver, I didnt like the look of them just in there flat.

I got mine from glowshift. It's a digital tachometer and I am getting a volt meter this Monday. it was a smaller gauge so i had to make a bezel for it. Love the tach though. Looks awesome with the stock reds too.

I would like to do the gauges in the dash as well. Can anyone point me to a write up on what needs to be done to make that work....specifically the AC system changes.
Do most just drill holes in the AC system ducts to feed the wires to the gauges or does a portion of the AC system need to be removed entirely?
I dont see how doing this would hurt AC performance because if you dont have to remove part of the system you could always still blow heat or AC to the windshield or floor.

Hey guys, I would like to get the vent out of the dash so I can look at what I need to do to make this work. Please someone tell me how to get the vent out before I break it trying. Thanks for your help!

I forgot exactly how they pop out but I think the tabs are right in line with the center bar of the ring (if that makes any sense). Just take a small straight pick and pry around the edges softly till it starts popping out. As far as the a/c stuff its up to you if you want to block it or not. mine doesnt work so it was a no brainer for me. To run the wires theres a foam gasket that mates the dash and the a/c duct. Just tuck the wires through there.

You don't have to drill a hole in the ac duct. Once your get the vent out you will see that there is enough room to feed the wires up through. Just take your radio out and it's a piece of cake.
And on another note if some has "black" vent rings they would like to sell, I need some. I need the whole vent ring even the circle piece that's goes into the dash

Here is what I finaly came up with. Dose not obstruct airbag deployment or the operation of the glove box. Still have use of the drink holder, so long to big gulps though.
Best part of it it mounts using stock trim attach points, no drilling required. Could be removed and you would never know it was there.
No comments on the dash matt it is gone. LOL
