well the front two bolts have one washer each and tighten all the way and back two have one washer each as well and dont tighten enough for the head of the bolt to even get close to touching the washer against the underside of the decklid. theres about an inch space. my buddy thinks i shoudl just get a bunch of washers and fill the void with that but 25 on each side would looks bad i think lol.

Maybe you can find shorter bolts? Does the amount of thread in the spoiler hold it securely?

take it off and screw them in and see if anything abnormal is going on. ....like the threaded sleeve insert is spinning inside of the spoiler or something... are you even getting a sufficient amount of threads started before it starts spinning? If your only getting like say...3 full rotations, then you wouldn't want to get a shorter bolt....it may pull the threads out when tightened down.

Some good insight from goat on this, we might be able to offer more suggestions if we had a pic or even a video of what the bolt is doing inside of the threads on the spoiler. Take your time when you're trying to figure it ou, you don't want to damage something on accident out of frustration.
