Default Anyone make a plug for pwr Antenna in 1/4 panel?

I am wondering if anyone has an info on the subject. My power antenna has been broke since I got the car 3 years ago. I never listen to the radio, only cd's and i-pod. One day the car will get repainted, and I will shave the antenna hole from the 1/4 panel. But right now, I would like to just remove the whole unit and put a plug to prevent any water from getting in. At least seal as good as the antenna. I have looked in parts stores and many other places looking for something to adapt to it but nothing. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know

thank you

the only thing i can think of is just putting in a rubber grommet for the mean time until you get it painted

I just pulled the antenna out of mine. There is already a built in water tube that exits under the trunk floorboard, in case water got into the antenna.

You could always just stick a non-power Camaro antenna on for now...

I cut my broken one down and epoxied the end of it, so it looks like its in the down position all the time and since I'm a drag racer, its light weight. Also free'd up some room for my relocated battery and cut off switch. Its a lot easier than having the hole patched and looks a lot better than a plug!

Thanks for the ideas. I would lean most towards the Autozone grommet, or the epoxied end. Personally, I would rather have the whole unit gone because I am trying to shave some weight off of the car. I like the look of the antenna down, but no motor. shaolink9, would you happen to have a pic of what it looks like on your car?

Thank you all for the ideas.

this may be helpful, my dad got these plugs for the holes on the front of the car where the license plate is suppose to go, you might want to do some searching and see if anything will fit.

something like this

Stop by and check it out sometime. Your car is a street car though isn't it?
Still plan on using your radio? Mine only weighs a few ounces but it deletes the motor and all the working parts.

Wow, I looked at that link and I cannot believe $27.99 for 2 liscense plate bumper plugs. They look like regular push style plugs that can be found on any car, but the top is painted. Good idea though. That is similar to what I was thinking I would have to use, but 10 times that size. That pic reminded me of the little plastic covers that snap onto the outside of your door lock cylinder so you cannot use a key. I looked all through google for pics and tried different terms for the search, but cannot find the pics. I have seen them around before.
