You can't even notice the lights inside of the bulb. They are super bright. I wanted the rear lights to match the front ya know. Soon I'll have LED's over my license plate.

Um. Well I guess you know 5000k puts out more actual light than 6000k, right?

Doesn't put out more light, per say, but puts out longer wavelength light that has a less intense frequency when compared to a higher temp bulb/light.. All of which is what you could have meant by "actual light"..

As far as lumens goes. The number is higher, meaning more "light"

The luminous flux (unit = lumen) is adjusted to reflect the sensitivity of the human eye to different wavelengths of light. So a lumen is a way of measuring how much light covers an area. So lumen isn't an amount of light (beam number wise), but a measure of it's usefulness, due to intensity.. With the lower temp (5K opposed to 6K), you have a longer wavelength and thus, larger light beams in an area. By that, there is "more light" but not in the sense that there are more beams. Just more area of wavelength.. Sorry for the rant and .. LOL.. Just trying to get things straight. I'm sure we're on the same page and saying the same thing, just differetn..

I didn't use the LT1 glass housings. I used some KC HiLights housings. I've got them mounted up with some 8K HIDs but I'm still working out some kinks in the system.
