Default HVAC overlays installed

I had some free time today and decided to finally get these overlays on. I got them for $35 and I think they add a little color to the interior. I have some ideas for more things to do to the interior. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions!

Looks good. The only thing I disliked about the shift overlay is that you can barely see the little red indicator that shows what gear the car is in....

Yeah I know what you mean. I could barely see it to begin with for some reason, maybe it's ust my car? And they're silver to match the exterior

No its not only your car. I had one on my car and it was the same way. if you notice the letters and red marker sit lower than the surface of the indicator, which is why putting an overlay on top sort of makes them more difficult to see..

Yeah, but do they come in silver like this guy has?

An auto shift boot from redlinegoods and a Camaro shift **** would be great additions to your interior as well. I have that exact setup and can take a couple pics if you want...

That's actually where I got the overlays from. They only advertise them in white but I emailed them and they said they could do a customs et in silver for $5 more.

Are they just white overlays? I'm nervous about doing gauge overlays because I don't want my gauges to to be dim like the shift plate and HVAC are.

They won't be dim at all. Macewen gauge overlays are flatter and transparent. Check out my gauges: I have Macewen silver overlays with red smds. When I had the stock bulbs in the overlays did not affect lighting at all.

I'm not sure if that company mentioned above makes there silver overlays the same, but you could ask..

Yeah I looked at your Fquick. They look very nice. Are they easy to install? Do the needles just pop off?

very easy install. Just remove the bezel and lens, and then put the overlays on. No needle removal is required because they go through the holes of the overlays
