The more I look at headlights out there, and knowing that I need a new pair, the more I consider buying a set of stock lights, a good low beam projector, and a good high beam projector, and doing an all-out custom retrofit like that. I do like halos though (I do like the little bling factor I guess) so I'd put those on as well.
The only thing is I may do OK at fabrication, and it usually functions just fine, but it rarely looks pretty

thanks for the compliments guys.... and bobbyd, the reason I went with the sonars over the other projector kits is that these take the H1 bulb, and it is a lot brighter than the other light setups that have the H3 bulb. I put HID's in these housings along with my fog lights, and it is probably the best choice I could have ever made. With the fog light and high beam wiring mod to allow all the lights to be on at once, I can see for days at night.

I got the R8 style projectors and the cutoff is total ****. I dont know what kind of retard designed the shields. I took mine apart and painted the chrome where the LEDS are, yanked the Halos , and I was lucky enough that I had some spare shields, that I had to make fit. My advise I wouldnt buy the R8 unless you plan on taking them apart, and making ur own shields.

If anyone in Ohio needs a pair of camaro stockers lemme know, i got a set to sell just a little hazed, could be completely buffed out if someone put in the effort, i did a little but received a set of sonars before i could really get at it. PM me if interested, not trying to ship though.
Haystack - How is fitment? And you have any clearer pics of the headlights? Not a whole lot of people have tried them so what other issues do they have?
Frank - Very clean car!

the cutoff with the original shields? nope, I was too furious to take pics. There is a photo above with the cutoff, there was no way to make it look decent..even with adjusting I was polishing a turd. Wasnt even a straight line........some kind of V shape.
here it is with my own shields,

Anyway, I've had both and currently have the Sonars in. IMO the Sonars are better looking despite the ugly chrome ring. The halo ring is bigger and looks better in the housing, but is not as bright as the Eagle Eyes' CCFL ring. Fitment is the same. The main reason I switched away from the Eagle Eyes was because 3 of the 4 rings died on me within about 2 years.
