They broke in the middle, they were the original tips without the extra bar for added strength. They always rattled together on startup, so i just got the exhaust dumped. It was a custom design for the LM2 muffler to be installed, the guy who did it had no clue how to really do it. So i just ended up dumping it and getting some extra hp out of it compared to what he did.

Still got them, they just broke in the middle. Original design without the extra bar for strength. I may just weld them back together and add a bar for the extra strength and use them again or maybe ill get some new ones off ebay. I see some polished ones but idk if i can spend 300 or 600 for them like they want on there.

Nope, havent tried that. Im just getting my LE to be something different then the rest, and there's another 5 in the area driving around and all of them look alike. Except for maybe tint on 1 and exhaust on another.

looks good but i just think tinting would be to much with the berger panel on there.

the lines of the LT1 lights match up perfectly with the rear end, meeting up perfectly with the line of the trunk and also the line of the center panel. that's the main thing i like about them, and also they have no amber.

if you tint LT1's the way they are tinted in the pic you posted they look much better, and have a much cleaner flow with the rear end. IMO

Exactly why I got them. Thinking about tinting them a bit though myself.

The LT1 lights look 1000x better than the LS1 lights. The amber section screws everything up. One of the first things I did to my Camaro was swap the tail lights.

VERY NICE! i love those tails

Although I must say, the license plate frame is a bit redundant... I have the same one except without the "ss" and I going to change it to a gloss black frame with no text.

I always go back and forth between the two taillights and I'm an LT1 with "LS1 Style" taillights. I think on some cars the pre-97 tails give it a simplier, cleaner look.

Car looks good, now get those tips back.
