Default Okay to use car wash this one time?

It's a bit cold outside to wash the car by hand, so I'm thinking about going to the car wash with the foam brush, spray gun, etc. I know it's a no-no, though, but I wonder if rinsing out the brush would mitigate any possible scratches or anything. Let me know if it would be okay this one time. Thanks.

Go to a touchless/laser car wash.

It needs some good scrubbin'. I don't know if a touchless would work. I've never heard of a laser car wash.

Yeah man x2 for not using the brush. I found out the hard way....I had to do a DAMN good detail to get that poor decision reversed.

At least use the touchless wash until you can wash it by hand. Or better yet....use the touchless wash to get all the heavy stuff off, and drive home and use ONR on it inside the garage!

Brushless is o.k., or high pressure spray gun is o.k. Even if it doesn't get your car completely clean.

Never use anything that has a brush. A mudded up monster truck filled the bristles with gravel 5 minutes before you showed up.

go to a pull in car wash, bring your own microfiber sponge or whatever sponge you use and just use the high pressure washer and clean it yourself. Make sure you spray from like 10 ft away if you can so that it's not as powerful. Some people argue that the high pressure washer can actually induce scratches into the paint, me being one of them, so be careful how close you are. I used one on my camaro vert and it pulled the convertible top right off the bracket. BUT NEVER GO TO A CAR WASH!! If you care about your car you wouldn't take it to one =]. My favorite part is when the mexicans drying your car drops their drying rags on the floor, pick it up, and continues to dry your car w/ it.... or even better wipes their sweaty arms w/ it and then dries your car w/ it hahah.

Oh, I hand-wash with a mitt by section and dry with a microfiber towel. It's just cold outside. I may have to wait.

Yeah if I need to wash the car quick I just take a microfiber but always avoid the brush now as I did it once a long time ago and regret it.

I just use warm water in my buckets and wash one section at a time. Wash a little, then dry and go warm up for a little while then repeat!

oh....my method was for those who are afraid of using their water hose in the winter...in fear that their pipes may burst.
