Apparently you've never researched HID setups yourself, else you'd realize the reasonable nature of his price. Brian still has to make a profit, good grief.

Not surprised that you could only spring for a mail order tune...

Honestly if I could cut the price in that range and sell 1,000's I would but then I would be paying you to have these lights. I did my best to make this kits as affordable to the masses as possible.

Just like brakes are many times an afterthought on someones mod list, having proper visibility at night can be just as important. These are fast cars and the sooner you see a problem up the road (Deer, children, etc), hopefully the more time you have to react to the potentially dangerous situation.

Cant wait for some that bought the kits to post their installed pics, but it sounds like by the time this happens the GP will be over?

What is the outer lense made of? It looks awfully close to the bulb. Also is there a warm up time before illum?

Keep up the good work

You forgot to mention that these are not only safety promoting devices but aesthetically badass....one more step to modernizing our 8yr+ old birds. Plus, the bitches love it =]

Yes the intro GP will be over before the customer install pics will likely be posted however I may start another GP when this concludes but not at this pricing.

Outer lens is made out of plexiglass/acrylic which will not yellow and is very impact resistant. I have had this same material and thickness used in my own car for three years with no degradation or other issues. The projector lens on the high beam is closer than the low beam to the front cover but heat will not be an issue. It would take temps over 300 deg to even soften the cover which will certainly not be the case.

Warm up times on the HID low beams are no different than OEM HID systems. They will reach full brightness in around 5 secs.

$499 is the group buy price for the low beam kit only as indicated on the first page of the thread. Everyone would love a lifetime warranty but 99.9% of products sold on the open market don't even carry that and if they did....they would be a whole lot more expensive.

i dont think ive seen any 'full frontal' shots yet.. a LOT of why im getting this kit is how these lights look coming the other way.

Ive lived with my shitty stock lights until now, because id rather live with those than switch to an hid kit in the factory housings. i think its ricey, and annoying.

now im gonna have the visibility and the look of a car thats worth as much as ive thrown at my good ol f body
