Default New Tuning Buddy!

Mods sorry if this is in the wrong section. It is not a tuning related question just showing off my handy laptop stand. Made this a couple years ago for my full size laptop, but it works so much better with my new netbook. Kinda crude but gets the job done. Made from sheet metal and copper tubing.

Yeah its not for looks, just gets the computer up where I can see it easier. I had the wires all hidden and everything before but had to pull it all out to setup HPtuners on my new computer. Just hadn't bothered to clean it up yet. Comes out when not tuning, though so not a real big deal. It also swivels so you can position it closer to you. Alot cheaper than buying one $0 cost to me..

I used to have a similar one installed. Picked it up on eBay for cheap! Here is the current ad. http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-Truck-LAPTOP...ht_11690wt_939

You can just down load it from their website. I would imagine an external disk drive would work to, but the download was lots easier.

Are you talking about cables with the HPtuners or laptop? You will get everything you need from HPTs. It just plugs into the OBD2 and a usb to you laptop. Once you are a customer you get to login and download updates to the software for free.
