I won't know about my heads until I pick them up. (hopefully today).

My cam specs are:

Texas Speed Torquer V3:
231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA

I currently have the graphite GM head gaskets. The MLS are thicker, correct? I know that'll lower compression a bit.. but does that change anything drastically?

OH BOY! More good news!

Apparently one of the guides on a head was completely snapped off. Therefore, my heads won't be done until "MAYBE" next Tuesday. More money for me to spend now I would imagine.

He also said he'll measure the chamber size of the heads.. which will be another $45.

Its awesome to see there are alot more younger guys like me that take care of these cars, granted im 22 but still not that much older. The thicker head gasket wont change anything drastically you might lose alittle compression but not enough to noticeany loses. Now if this was a nascar motor different story haha. Btw love the Nick williams tb i was in awwww when I got mine for my ls6.

Wow, you are a brave soul. Ha! You are dumping a lot of money on this. Do you have a job?

I just bought Koni 4/3's for my car, I'm 19 making $8/hr getting **** hours, and now I'm broke. Lol. $31 in my checking account until my next $36 paycheck. I think a new job is needed to fund my extensive mod list I want to do....lol. I've spent more than $1,200 on just shocks/springs/and adj. PHB. I won't own a credit card until I have a steady job and I'm making a lot more.

What state are you in? What's your minimum wage?

Good for you for saving, and not going into debt for parts. That's always been my strategy. Cash is king.

Brian, doing some hydrodripping, are we

Probably not.. if anything I planned on having a silver intake. It's gray.. so, I don't see much of a point
