a little help with some DDm tuning HID kit
So after seeing all these pics, i finally went and bought a Apexcone35w 880 5000k HID kit for my fog lights from ddm tuning. The most electronic work i have done on my car is putting in new speakers so after seeing all these wires I am wondering do i use them all or do they just add in extra just in case.
pretty much i would like to know from the people who have used these kits, What wire will i be using and which won't i be using. I am already guessing you plug "E" into "H" lol?
Also do i need to take off my bumper, I really would prefer not to, my guess is with a little tight squeezing, no?
And finally does anyone have a link to a write up, or can give me a quick one.

A , B, and E are the same wire, one end is the other. i its just used as an harness extension if you need it. technically you can plug A and B into the headlight harness then plug E into H
d goes to g
c goes to f
plug the headlight bulb harness into H backwards; if you match it correctly it will not work, harness connection needs to be opposite of how its suppose to line up
there is no way to do it wrong and hurt something, just be sure not to damage the bulbs or get any finger prints on them

I took the cable that links a/b to e and yanked it out. You don't need it at all... It's for cars that aren't plug and play.
take your headlight(or foglight) connector and plug it into H then F into C and D into G.
If they're foglights, plug in normal. Headlights you will plug into H backwards.
Hang onto the a/b to e... I've already found use for the connector elsewhere and you may, too!

bumper can stay on. Remove the headlights and you have easy access to the fogs below. REMOVE the fogs entirely. Once out, remove the bulbs and you will see 4 screws around the base of the bulb. Loosen these up so the base can lift up a bit, and put the new bulb in and twist to lock. If it won't twist to lock, loosen the 4 screws more. Once locked, tighten the 4 screws back down.
Reinstall the fogs, plug your 880 connector into H and then (just read what I put in my last post) mount your ballasts and you're good to go. If neither come on, check your wiring. If just one comes on, turn them off and on a couple times. If there is still no difference, double check wiring.
If your wiring is ok, swap ballasts. if the problem stays with the ballast... you have a bad ballast. If it doesn't, bad bulb.
IF you constantly have to power cycle for them to both come on, get an upgraded harness and you'll be good to go.
Good luck! It's very easy just take your time.
**just noticed you have a T/A. This post refers to camaros, however my previous post is universal.

I just got mine and im trying to install one side and I followed exactly what ec_nova said and they will not work. I swapped ballasts and they still wont work. Do they BOTH need to be installed for them to work?

im sure most people already know this, but instead of flipping the headlight connector around, you can switch the pins on the them so that the clip can actually hook on to the little nub on the ballast. its not hard at all and it took me literally 2 min to do both sides. then you dont have to worry about the connectors backing off the ballasts.
