Default Lowered 00' Trans Am/Photoshoot

Finally got around to lowering the TA yesterday and today. It was a PAIN IN THE *** because of rust, so it took pretty much all of yesterday just get the front done.

Used a set of DMS Springs for a nice raked stance, some SLP Bilstien Shocks and a UMI single adjustable Panhard Rod. Also cleaned up the car by getting rid of the decals on the filler panel and the B Pillar.

Looks good.

Your rear wheels seem to sit really far in the wheel well...

Yeeeeah, needs some 315s in there ASAP, but that means new rear rims too.

Its supposed to drop it 1.30" all around, but its clearly much more of a drop on both ends (which I knew before hand and is why I chose these springs). The front pretty much has the top of the wheel even with fender, while the rear has the fender maybe about 2 inches above it.

It handles a lot better, although I need a bit more suspension parts for it to handle pretty good.

goddamn, your pictures hurt my neck.

Not one of them shows the car horizontally.

But nonetheless the stance is nice. Love the hood.

He needs rear suspension mods. His rear wheels/tires are off centered, and its further back because its lowered.

I have DMS springs also. I like mine alot.

The wheels/tires sit exactly how they sat when the car wasnt lowered. I got a single adjustable panhard rod and centered the car after all the shocks and springs were installed. They seem to go further into the wheel well now that its lowered because the fenders buldge out and are now closer to the wheels.

And yes, Im a huge fan the DMS springs. Took forever for me to find a set.
