Man some of you guys are VERY annoyed by the "horns".

I don't even notice em most of time im cleaning the lights. Why is it a big deal if they are left on.

Flame on!

I have been getting PMs about the headlights I sent in and the results. Guys I don't have them in my possession yet. I am guessing they are in route. I will post the after pics when I get them back. They were an extra set I had so I wasn't in a big hurry for them to be turned around.

Mike- Please shoot me a PM so I'll know when to expect them back.

TIA

the reason people prefer the lights without the horns are

1) it looks cleaner without them

2)with these cars being as old as they are, at this point in time some lights have become very foggy/cloudy/hazed over time. so for the people who try to do serious restorations on their lights, the horns really get in the way of doing an effective job.

for me, i could care less if they're there! i'm not using the same lights that have been on the car since it rolled out of the factory, mine were new, aftermarket lights, so i have no need for a serious cleaning/restoring. But to have the choice of horns vs. no horns, id take them without simply for a cleaner look.

The whistler mod is going to be a no-go. Sorry, but we just can't justify the added liability of pulling these units apart.

Probably because he was marketing on here without being a sponsor. I don't get why everyone thinks it's such a PITA to polish headlights? It's easy.

Yeah I know it's easy, I just really don't have the time right now, and I could really use a new/cleaned up set.
Anyone got an idea either how to contact him, or if anyone who is a sponsor is doing it?

You got no time! You can do both of them in less than a hour. Even if they are real bad. A little wet sanding and then polish with plastic polish and a pad on a cordless drill and they will look brand new. Mine are 10 years old with over 226,000 + miles on them. I just freshened them up yesterday with some plastic polish and they look brand new again. I usually hit them about once a year to keep them looking nice. Only wet sanded them the first time and just polish them after that.

Revival.. I am Mike@ZMS and just wanted to toss out the info that the reason I was banned was because my sponsorship expired..

And when did Sommer move to Orlando? WTF???
