Pretty wide variations in customizing from very subtle to well creative! Probably the best interior mod you'll ever do.

PETA members it was only a joke! dont come protesting at my house. i value my dogs life more than most peoples, is that bad?

Here's mine, reposting to make questions easier to answer.

My white needles came in and look great! I'm not sure what to do about lighting though. I want to ditch the incandescent bulbs and go with LEDs. Anyone have any input in regards to color? I'd like to order these ahead of time for when my overlay comes in.

Also, what number of bulbs are required for a complete instrument cluster bulb swap for a '94? I've only found the number for the LS cars.

Really you could go with any color as the needles and cluster would glow whatever color you put in. I think white would look good.

Alright man I will warn you its a ************ to swap out the Incandescents to LEDs
on the 93-96 clusters . You have to manually solder on 2-3 strands of copper wire
for each terminal of the LED , which leaves you with pigtails that you solder onto
the connector the LED sits in . VERY time consuming . Heres a list of what bulbs
I used for my full LED swap on my cluster ....

5-Red 5 way LEDs - For Indicators , Check Gauges , Brake , Etc.
5- Amber 5 way LEDs - For Indicators , Low Oil , Service Engine Soon , Etc.
1-Blue 5 way LED - For High Beam Indicator (You can choose any color but make sure its a 5 way)
7 - Cool White WLED-HP6 LEDs - For Cluster backlighting
2- Green WLED-HP6LEDs - For Turn Signal Indicators

If you have any other questions just let me know . Not many people have done
the 93-96 clusters and Ive done quite a few

PS: PM me in you want to know where I got my LEDs from (non sponsor)

For future reference you can just buy new twist in sockets from super bright leds for like $1.50 each. No soldering and they go right in. You can also use the sockets out of a LS cluster, thats what I did when I put my overlay in.

The sockets from superbrightleds do NOT work with 93-96 clusters . The contact patches
do not line up with the solder points on the board of the cluster . You cannot find 97+ cluster
socket bulbs without the cluster either . 93-96 clusters have more bulbs/sockets than 97-02
clusters do as well .

Didnt know that about the super bright led sockets. I found a cheap 2000 cluster for 50 bucks so I just bought that and used those sockets. My trans am cluster has 7 bulbs (5 background, 2 turn signal), so it worked out great for me

Camaro clusters are quite a bit different than T/A clusters . The 93-96
Camaro guys got screwed with any cluster customization Even
the damn 161 bulbs are soldered in the sockets and are only replaceable
as a whole Oh yea also the 93-96 Camaros have 20 bulbs lol

you need 7 w LED xhp6 bulbs from them, 5 for the background, 2 for the turn signals. And as stated you need the new twist in sockets from them or a 98+ f body. I believe autozone sells these sockets individually in the HELP section as well
