A couple of questions:

1) i have a mcewen overlay but would like to get a custom one, how hard is it to peel off another vendor's overlay?

2) is there a write up on how to remove the needles so i don't fugg anything up on the accuracy of my speedo?

Just buy another cluster . Thats what I did . Hell I got 3 clusters just hanging around
from the previous mods The needles just pull straight up but make sure to take pics
of their positions with the car warmed up , full tank of gas with the car on a level surface , so you can put them back on correctly .

Actually, our overlays COMPLETELY REPLACE the stock one. You'll just pull the stock one off, Mcewen still attached.

Needles are super easy, I can e-mail the directions if you like...

Hey boys...here's a little "fun" advice......

GO NUTS WITH THESE!! That said, you really can do ANYTHING you think of. Go look at the previous 11 GP's and look around on our site. Mark alone is on his 5th or 6th set. I'm on my 4th, if you count my cheap **** stick ons. I'd love to see some that would want ME to get another set, lol.

Go crazy with them. It's your car, and you can do anything you want. Even if you think no one else may not like it, WHO CARES?!? You're the only one who has to like it.

Capice?

^^Also, if you go CRAZY, think a year later it is now dated and trendy YOU CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO STOCK (just save your stock overlay)

Granted it would be RETARDED after spending that much money BUT I just wanted to let you all know it isn't like the cheap stick ons that ruin your factory overlays...

Basically, we don't call it silver because silver normally has metal flake which we can NOT do... We can just do light grey...

Awsome, thankx for the reply. I'm lookin to see when I can actually put my order in now. Stupid monthly budget, LOL.

I'm very excited to do this! I am concerned about the getting the needles back on accurately as well, specifically for the tach and speedo.

It is really simple and after talking to my calibrator where they are and how they are set from the factory is a joke to begin with.

Can you make solid black numbers on a white background? All of the white ones I see have the numbers outlined in black. Thanks!

No, the lighting wouln't work at night. We can do a light gray with a glair to make it look almost silver on a white background. That is a pretty popular option & looks great in person.

I keep kicking around the idea of maybe an overlay. But every time I configure it at it I go... wow, it looks nearly like my stock one. I guess I'm not very imaginative

BTW, does Sommer86 make the needles separate for each order? I just haven't heard anything about my order of them.
