I think i might leave the "X" red, just to be "correct" if you will. i'm going for a totally OEM, clean look with anything and everything i can. The "LS" before the "x" would be grey/silver of course like you said, but do you think you could make 3D looking letter, kind of as if they were stainless/reflective/mirror or something? maybe just some kind of shading or shadow effect i suppose. I also like how the Dick Harrell logo lights up around it, how hard would it be to make the "LSX" do that and still look right during the day?

What about the S86 needles? i need to make everything tie together a bit (thinking about my digital cobalt gauges on the A-pillar)...maybe clear needles with blue LED's behind the gauges? i dunno how it would look, but i like how it sounds.
That is all possible, I can make it look 3D with a glare to it so it looks stainless. As far as the red "X" I can do it but I would suggest aginst it only because red & orange don't work well together, but its up to you. The "glow" can be done too, & you wouln't even be able to see anything differant during the day.

If it were me I would go with white needles, I just got mine installed & they are awesome! That way any color LED you go with will work with the needles, plus it will be a nice contrast during the day.

^^^ What he said.

To clarify.... the "white" needle IS the "clear" needle. It's just worded weird on the site. (the white needle is our clear needle with a silk screened white background) The reason we can't/won't do clear is because you'd lose light as it travels to the tip. The white background bounces the light down the backside and allows it to light up. Also, if the needle was completely clear you'd see the overlay through it and then not see the needle at all. (actually you still would, but it would be harder to see) I also don't want any of you to be unhappy or unsatisfied. The white really does an amazing contrast on ANY color and you'll be happy.

Like McN said, the white looks awesome. They look more "race inspired" and are REALLY set off with any color LED. Although one of my faves we did was a blue set for a guy with blue LED's and his looked AWESOME too!

McNord had it ready for me on Sunday but I've just been away from my home computer where they are to upload them so I can post them

Even right now I'm just on a laptop... Lots of acting stuff this week. Tomorrow without a doubt though. They look great and he also did a 35th Prototype that is going to change the game AGAIN

I'm putting back half the money this week for my set, I have already been in contact with McNord on my design. Its pretty basic & subtle but it'll look kick *** with the series of Autometer gauges I'll be running.
