Default Best kind of paint for behind billit grille

I just bought a black billit grille from ebay and want to paint the area behind it black. What kind of paint is best to use? Does this area need sanded or prepped in any special way to make the paint adhere? Thanks!

Scotch brite pad and shoot it with any flat or low gloss black. I just picked up some krylon from Lowes and it worked great. I did 2 coats.

you are painting the front bumper support, correct?

did you spray paint the front bumper support while it was on the car or did you remove it and then spray paint it?

i used a scotch brite pad also and gave it a few coats of duplicolor satin trim paint but i think it looks a little dull so i think a semi gloss would look better and the glossyer paint tend to be a little more durable.

Use one of the ones that is all green or all red. The ones you're referring to is the kind you wash dishes with.

pay attention to post #9 and #14

my advice is to spray lots of really thin coats. i did 3 medium coats and it bled a little even with high adhesive sharp tape. so be conservative.
