Otherwise i reinstalled everything careful not to tighten down the adapter too far and all seems well now. Will text drive it next week as i don't want to get caught driving in the rain.

Column is locked so that's why it's slightly off center at the moment. It sits straight and hopefully drives just as straight! LOL

which Momo is that? I like that one too.

Here is a quick question... can I get rid of that yellow circle thing? That is only for the airbag right?

I only have that one horn wire and am trying to figure out if it should have two wires, one being a ground.

I am also looking to replace my wiper switch, which looks like a bitch to do..

So just the yellow part I can get rid of, not the piece that surrounds the yellow piece.

I would have to look at some other diagrams.. I cant remember off the top of my head.. I know the clockspring comes out as an assy. but as far as something surrounding it, I don't know for sure. As long as what you're removing isn't attached to the steering controls (if you have them) you should be fine with gutting everything but like I said, I can't remember for sure.

I gave you the answer before....

I finally got around to putting in the steering wheel, for me I had to replace my wiper switch which was a headache because everything needed to come out.

here is my advice for the wheel install.

-Take out the clock spring, it's a waste of space because you don't need it, and it's easier tp pull it out intact rather than cut the wires and leave it there.
- don't grind the back of the momo hub, grind the 1/2 inch on the bottom sides this will allow a bit to fit into your steering column and look nicer instead of sitting outside your steering column.

Here is a shot of what my wheel looks like. It makes the car feel 100 times better, especially with the rag joint eliminator..

I connected the red wire to my horn switch and attached the ground wire to a bolt (ground).

Here's a shot from today...just excuse the dirty interior as the car has been in storage for over a year, just haven't gotten around to cleaning/washing it yet. The wheel is a Tenzo R Version 5 mounted on a MOMO Hub adapter.((The wheel is off a little due to it being locked.))

Finally got around to installing my steering wheel. I did a couple thins different than posted.
1. I removed the air bag rotater connector in the column and unplugged it at the base of the steering colomn.
2. That's where I made the ohm harness....although the 2.2 okm resistor did'nt turn the light off for me.
3. I cut a piece of the connecter from the wheel for the horn and cripped my own spade terminal on it.
4. I had to grind 1/4" of the base of the MOMO hub so it would clear the steering column

I'm not having any luck getting my airbag light to go out. I tried the 2.2 resistor and no resistor. I unplugged it at the base of the steering column to do this as I took the rotator out of the system. Does anyone have any other ideas or fixes for the airbag light? Yes I have done a search.

And if anyone who answers that can also officially answer if it has an actual airbag bulb that can be removed along with the abs inop and asr lights that are on in my car before i go through the trouble of removing the cluster, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!
