here is an idea i was thinking about trying.
i have an ls1 car and am going to go back to the lt1 style nose.
I really like the LS1 fog light set up, so id like to mold that portion of the bumper onto the lt1 nose.
This gives a round element to the nose that would match two round projectors instead of the square ones.
make a fiberglass mold that is its own housing and stick two projectors(halos would be cool) in it.
I think the thing people dont like about the round headlights is that A) they look unfinished, B) they are often too small, and C) there are no other round elements to match it.
maybe someone can photo shop that, i suck at it or i would. This would probably be cheaper and easier than starting to make projectors in the tiny halogen cases.

Any kit that looks decent and sells for under $400 for Hi/Low beams.
Anyone could fab up something that looks great if they had no budget. Doing something with only 500 or 400 bucks makes things quite more challenging.

Remember, there is a reason no one has made a solution like this in the past... It's not easy and the market will rip it apart if the finished product does not justify the cost.
I'm at V3 of the mounting setup after many tweaks. Speaking to a few different manufacturers for a couple of parts I cannot build myself. Everyone seems interested based on the market potential and feedback from customers like yourself. The road is not short on this one...

Def not a dead project. I know others have failed with this but this will happen. Initial fitment went decently but need to tweak the overall mold a bit more. I'm not happy with the some of its features which can be improved pretty easily. Mounting should be pretty easy and so will wiring (plug-n-play).
I need to make sure everything is still adjustable which is a bit tricky within the confines of the housing.
Other projects are also in the works but this one is not on the back-burner.

No teaser pics I care to share at this time. This isn't a patented design and some people may have aspirations to jump into the game with a setup like this.
As it looks now, its looks like a recessed housing with four projectors. The overall shape is rectangular to retain the look of the front of the car. Avoiding the four eyes is difficult but I'm not accentuating it anymore than the projectors show naturally. It's going to look good.

Projectors are not rectangular but the housing for both low/high beams is that shape to retain the general look of the front end. Simply put, I am downplaying the look of the circular projectors so your eye is not drawn directly to the four eyes. It's the cosmetic details which will make or break the look.
