Headliner Help Needed ASAP
So do you guys just put the new fabric over it and simply cover up the wrinkles? I'm using seude that has no backing on it and am having second thoughts about it now that I see how rough the backing is. Or are you getting some thick fabric, glueing that down and then glueing the seude on top the the thick fabric???
I'm stuck at this point and am unsure what to do.
Please give me some help soon, I'd like to get this project almost finished up today
Thanks in advance
I'll have to look around town and see what people have otherwise I guess I'll just have to wait
**** nothing is ever as easy as you think its going to be

The headliner idea I had won't work, it was folded up to ship and is all creased up so I'm going to try finding just foam today and try to get this project finished up

Here is what I did when mine started hanging down.
I redone mine in thick heavy leather, but I fiberglassed over the old headliner after i removed the old material and foam.
This way the fiberglass had something to adhere to. Don't put to many layers of fiberglass cloth on it or when you go to reinstall it back in it won't flex enough to get in. After the the fiberglass cloth/resin dried hard and was cured, I test fitted the leather, trimmed it so i had a bout 3 inches all around to fold over. I then sprayed 3m super adhesive on it real good, and fitted the leather to it. I then took a roller and pushed the leather flat all around,. I then 3m super added the roof and put dynamat and heat shield up there, then reinstalled the leather headliner. My car is now quieter and cooler all summer.
Hope this helps.
