This is what I should have done when I rebuilt my DRLs with new lenses, instead of using silver paint... lmao

my HIDs are ebay 5000k. imo they look more like 6000k. cant beat the price tho. 55 bucks shipped

What is VHT? And what's wrong with just spraying the lenses from the outside?

You guys got off the couch and did it before me! HAHA

I have wanted to do this for about a year now. I actually made a thread about it and everything, just never got around to doing it. I had an extra set of fogs already taken apart/prepped just never sprayed/put back together/swapped out.

Looks good and almost exactly what I was going to do. I didn't want to nightshade them because like Brian, I have HIDs in my fogs and didn't want to cut down on any light output.

Has anybody done the same with the turn signals/orange DRL? I wanted to do it with them and replace the plastic with a new piece. Wasn't sure what it would look like. Zex, did you say you did this?

It would have too, your going from a chrome like reflector to a non chrome housing that does not reflect. Of course if you converted to HID, its a mute point, surprised someone hasnt color coded these to the same color as their car yet? Say SOM?
