ZFX(best)or Z1, Z2, Z5, Z6, Z7 and Z18 clay bar. Also get a few of the 100% cotton applicators.

Go to www.zainobros.com for application recommendations! Good luck, you are on your way to looking like this:

ZFX $19.95
Z2 for shine $12.95
Z5 for swirls $16.95
Z6 $9.95 ( you will go though this stuff the most)
Z7 $7.95
Z18 16.95
and #314 (application pads) (I would get 12 of them) $25

Total of..... 109.07

Keep in mind this stuff lasts a long time! It is worth every penny you spend on this stuff. Also Make sure you are only using White 100% cotton made in America Towels on your car.

In my post I said ZFX or Z1. Like stated, you don't need both. You can either get the towels from Kevin, or look for Fieldcrest Royal Velvet/Charisma towels. They are about the softest you'll find. Use white, so if they get dirty, you'll know to use another part of the towel.

KevinSS, the TN Zaino distributor sells precut towels by request, 1/4, 1/2 or full size. He trims the edgings and resews them with cotton thread. I have a bunch of the Charismas from him. His e-mail address is koverall@cddn.com if you want to contact him.

What most people are starting out with Zaino is the Z-2 polish, Z-6 enhancer spray, Z-7 car wash, Z-18 clay bar and the ZFX accelerator. IF you have problems with alot of swirl marks you may want the Z-5, it is a thicker version of the polish that is better at filling swirls. Just make sure you aren't putting in new ones. This is the main reason for using 100% cotton towels. Also buy extra 100% cotton applicators from Zaino.

The only cotton mitts made any more are the ones by NAPA. If you don't have a store near you go to napaonline.com and order some.

When washing, drying, applying and removing polish, and using a detail spray use a LIGHT touch to help keep from adding new swirls.

Hope this helps a little and if you have any questions, ask away.

You can reuse it as much as you want, but you shouldn't apply more than 3 coats in a 24 hour period. After mixing ZFX with Z2/Z5, you should try to use it all within 6 hours. If you leave it mixed longer than that, the ZFX will lose it's effect, but the polish will still be good. I usually apply 2-3 coats every weekend (unless more frequency is needed) in the Summer, but I drive my car every day, so it has to look good at all times. Hope this helps. If you need more info, go to www.zainobros.com and you can read up on each product, and learn different tips and tricks.
