Default dupcolor black chrome spray paint whistler mod?

Had a question I saw some dupicolor black chrome spray paint for wheels. I was gonna do the whistler mod or buy some head lights but does anyone think this would work if I got this and sprayed the whole inside of the headlight housing where it is reflective not the lens does anyone think this would work

It should work as long as the surface is prepped right.. Just take your time and do even coats and let everything dry in between coats..

Anything darker than the standard shiny chrome on the main reflector will reduce light output.

Yeah I thought it would work better than masking everything off and it would still kinda be reflective. I don't know I've just read that there are a lot of people that mess there lights up doin this mod . Just thought you spray all of it would be easier

Default lights

Yeah I know and I know puting a dark coating on the reflective part will cut some light. But the paint from what I read puts a black coating on chrome making black chrome so it should still be a lil reflective. I don't know maybe this is dumb but was such a good idea when I thought about it.lol. has anyone used this paint on there beater cars or daily drivers lol

Leave the reflectors exactly as they are... It is worth the extra effort to tape them off.

....and to add to that . The darker chrome areas will create a darker shadow effect on the reflectors and give it the illusion they are darker too .

Never done it to f-body lights, but I know the Silverado lights suck ***** after the reflectors are painted. I wouldn't do it.
