Lt1 camaros and early LS1 camaros come with some of the ugliest and worse looking steering wheels ever, in fact i believe they were lifted right out of cavaliers.

Good call on changing it to ANYTHING.

they're really just an added safety feature that causes more injury, but saves lives in certain frontal impacts above 10mph. seatbelts do all the work.

however, if you like to text and drive, you're probably better off with an airbag. if you're the kind of guy who finds himself crashing into parked cars, you also are probably better off with an airbag.

DTB LS1: I'm getting one of those when I get the money together. Just bought parts for heads/cam/intake/fuel system so I'm kinda strapped right now.

And airbags do more harm than good a lot of the time. If you've got your seatbelt on, it's going to stop you 99% of the time. Having the bags go off wrecks the wheel, the dashboard, and usually the windshield. I have also personally known 2 people who got in wrecks where the airbags deployed and their only injuries were from the airbag deploying (dislocated elbow and broken wrist)
