I've got a Harwood 3". I like it a lot better than the straight sided cowls that don't fit the lines of the car. It's wider than the sonoco hood, which I like. In my opinion, makes it look different without looking too crazy. I actually only got the hood after a small accident that put a dent in the hood. It's pretty light too, something like 13 pounds versus almost 50 for the stock steel hood.

what do you consider a "big" scoop? 3", 4" 5" 6"....

the sunoco's are 3", and to me thats about the biggest that can go on a street driven camaro and actually look good. The 4" is slightly pushing it, but a few cars on here have certainly pulled that off because their cars look good as a whole. Anything bigger than 4" should automatically be left for the track.

Pro Stock hood scoops look like ***. I've seen it in person on a really slow car.

I have a 4 inch Glasstek Cowl. I like it.

Im speechless...

Thats horrible..

You can't put an 11" scoop on a H/C LS1...

You would need to be running ~5's in the 1320 to back that up...

those snorkel hoods should only be used on track only cars with roots blowers or tunnel rams, and even then they look bad on most post 1950s body styles

it will attract attention, but not the kind you want...mostly laughter from any serious hot rodder

Theres a few different styles for the LS Camaro . Ultra Z , Sunoco , Traditional Cowl , Harwood smooth cowl , Tall SS ,
Traditional SS , are some of the best looking hoods you can put on your Camaro . Do a search for these hoods and see what you like best

I m going with the 3 inch ss hood from vfn, sold my stock ss hood for 700,the thing that kills me is that vfn is so slow, its gonna be a 3 to 4 week wait time, thatsucks, but while I'm waiting mission snake skinner will be started and completed right around the time the hood gets there, everyone has the ss hood yeah there very nice I just wanted something diffrent.plus when somone offered me 700 for it, I couldn't turn it down, you should check out vfn.there hoods are the best in my opinion. Plus they have a lot of diffrent styles and pics on there page might help you out as it did for me. God bless and good luck
