Sometimes when i look at my 96, D.A.M Trans Am it looks blue. Other times it looks green, it really is a unique color. I am wanting to repaint the car blue but not too far off the blue hue that it has already.
So here is the question, amusing you could take the green out of the aqua color and only had the blue left what color blue would it be? thanks,

Thanks for the replies, i like the Lemans Blue. I attached a couple pics of my Dark Aqua Met. T/A for reference. It's hard to show the true color of the aqua color with pictures. For some reason it only seems to show the blue of the color and not the green. It's not my camera because a friend took a picture of it with his camera and it looked more blue in his camera to. Any other suggestions?

i have a unique color also and i like the color and wouldnt change it if i were you, there something about knowing that not everyone else has something like yours. on that note if you want a diff color but a red or black car and paint it. dont ruin the unique ones.
p.s. i love your 3rd gen its bad ***

Thanks for the comments on my 3rd gen its been a real pleasure to own it. I get nothing but compliments on it and it sucks to have to sell it. Truth be told i just bought my T/A and it was sort of a "surprise" to my wife. Thinking i could keep both cars was a BIG mistake and now im under the gun to sell the camaro. Funny thing was i thought after the initial shock of me buying the T/A i thought me and my wife could sit back and laugh about it but noooooooooo. Apparently it isn't cool to buy a car behind a spouses back and im paying for it.

As for the Trans Am i just want options on the table for the future. I may keep that aqua but want to know which blues would go best with it as it is. And by future i mean the next 4 to 5yrs.

My LT1 is the same color. I've been on the fence about changing it so much! Only reason why I'm not is the engine bay and door jams. Too much work. To do it right I'd strip the car with eng/int/windshield out. Right now, this week I'll be getting the hood shot and a couple small areas touched up. Can't wait.

Thanks, I know what you mean...when I look at it in one shade of light I love it, others I'm like it needs another color. My buddy and I have talked about the sunset orange or the that Dodge orange. It would have a black stripe like the 25th TA...
The hood was long awaited, I got it 3yrs ago. Its a harwood. The fitment is OE. I got it for 400 from a shop that was going out of business. Gaps are fantastic. I've taken a long time to decide if to change color, the hood even changed color to that gray. I also got the white TA 3yrs ago so the LT1 took a back seat. Still though it has a super nice custom leather 2tone int.
