Yeah - no kidding.

I haven't seen any pics of 6LE dash pads, that might be an option if they look ok.

Won't work for me, my dash panel exploded into tiny pieces it was so brittle.

Weird for a car that has spent most of it's life inside or under a cover.

Engine is done other than installing valley pan and valve covers, my buddy should be dropping it off tomorrow and I'll slide it in the car on Saturday.

Dropping on the k-member

Can't forget the pilot bearing. And proof it is a 6.0L!

SPEC Stage 2 clutch

All together! I thought I had a picture of it with the stainless longtubes on it, but I guess my camera didn't take it!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND BOOM, in the car!

Now to finish the fuel system, do my wiring, finish the brake system, and some other nickel and dime crap.

Got all the accessories and stuff mounted. Still need to get my alternator rebuilt and installed, but the rest is in.

Then I dropped it down to see how it looked with the full weight in the front. I'm happy with the stance.

I was taking the old o-rings off of the injectors last night and one of the tips cracked. I went ahead and bought rebuild kits for all 8 of them. When those come in I will rebuild my injectors and get the fuel rails installed and the fuel lines run. Also upgrading to a 255lph Walbro.

My last coil pack relo bracket got here today too, so going to try and mount that soon and run the plug wires.

Started the wiring.

And finished my C6 brake conversion, seems to fit pretty well.
Don't mind the surface rust, I bought these rotors a while ago!

Console is in, my interior wiring is all finished up, and the new shifter stick I made is in and seems to work pretty well!

And then I learned why you should never plan your fuel system while your k-member is not in the car. I can fix it, just need to see if I can find a 6AN male/male fitting and another 6an female hose end or a 6an male hose end locally tomorrow. I was so close to having the steering done, fuel system done, and a big dent in the wiring. Minor setback, to be expected with a car this custom.

Almost done with the fuel lines. I didn't take any pictures, but I put a short piece of line in to move that t-fitting out a bit.

Word of advice, do NOT BUY CHEAP AN FITTINGS! Joel put me on to Fragola fittings, so I bought those for the small section of -6 I made. It literally popped right in and tightened down.

I had bought some cheap -4 fittings earlier for the section to the nitrous controller. I worked for an hour on those damn little things before I finally gave up and bought some Fragola fittings. I figured I could wait a couple more days to save my fingers and my sanity.

Another update, fuel lines are DONE! Fragola fittings are where it is at, it took me less time to get that line PERFECT than it did to bolt the thing in place.

I also hooked up all the clutch lines and all and got the driveshaft in.

Just picked up the last few parts for my PCV system and a bunch of wire to finish my wiring. Going to try and get the PCV done tonight and the wiring started.

PCV setup is done, you can barely see it. 8)

Got almost half the wires done too. Tomorrow I am going to finish the rest and start on the battery relo box.
