what wires to cut to keep

what wires to cut to keep so is the black wire power? or can i keep both red ones? i want to cut the wire harness off so i just have either a black n red wire or red/red wire coming out of the power inverter
Cut the black one near the plug. Cut the red one near the switch. Connect the black to ground, red to a 12V power source, and they will turn on. Keep the switch if you want to turn them on and off - but you may want to locate the switch inside the car. Which then you'd need to lengthen the wire between the inverter and switch.
