My 00 Z28 drag car
I've spent all winter on this car and did a LOT of stuff. Wanted to see what yall thought. I took it to the track, barely made it to first round and just threw a 6.75 dial on it. I literally just finished it yeserday, hoping to test a beech bend tuesday. I'm pretty sure it will run 6.40s this year 1/8 on motor
appearance wise, or at least stuff you see outside is:
painted front all silver(was flamed)
vfn hood with blue accent
billet specialties street lites
Strange 4 piston caliper drag brakes
SLP Grille
"through the bowtie" custom battery cutuoff in rear panel
inside changes were
-6LE a/c blockoff with 3 gauges
-tach mounted on dash instead of column(so I can see it better)
-Wolfe Racecraft bulkhead in rear with a Chisled Performance 5 gallon fuel cell w/ intank a1000, battery box in the well in rear
underhood got all new paint/clear, along with the underside of the car painted
-aeromotive regulator and fuel system
-stainless catch can
-csr transmission catch can
-wire "tuck" over pass side strut tower(now inside the inner fender structure)
-PCM located behind dash, wiring exits behind intake now
-custom sheetmetal rad support
I'm sure i'm missing a lot. Car has a crapload of parts on it i'm not gona bother listing and bore you to death

ground clearance is actually pretty good! It has bullets immediately off the collectors, and it all seems to be tucked enough. The rake helps
I think I need to pull the isolators out of the rear and it will help the rake, but I need to make dang sure the tires clear. Don't want to be mid wheelie when a tire blows

thanks guys that means a lot, spent a lot of time trying to make it look good.
I weighed it today, 3199lbs with 5 gallons of fuel. Not bad for a car with a 10pt, full leather interior, cd player, iron block, and a 9in.
a few random interior shots(notice the hideous rk sport flame gauge cluster, we all make mistakes...lol)

not a whole lot, it has no a/c or anything behind the dash, chromoly parts, santhuff coilovers, anything behind the panels in the car is gone, stock seatbelts are gone, th350, light wheels, light drag brakes, manual master cylinder, no front crash bar, vfn fiberglass hood, (but still has rear crash bar and door bars) 5 gallon fuel cell, manual steering, etc. So really it hasnt been lightened much as far as removing stuff. I'm hoping top do a tubular k member this winter, thats all I can really do besides add power now. I look at it and feel like its done for a while
I may take some pics of the headers for yall, but I didnt do any tricks, it has regular hooker headers. I did pull the isolators out of the rear, it sits nicer now

The car looks great and silver looks good even when its dirty.
The only thing I would do is wetsand and buff out the headlights to get rid of the cloudy look. Maybe pick up a set that has the black inserts. That would look killer on your setup!!!
