T-top storage area lights?>
I remember a few years ago about some threads but about 10 minutes of searching yielded no results. Has anyone put some lights down in the t-top storage area since the light at the top of the hatch is worthless unless your in the back seat.
Im a big fan of GM reel lights and have a "stash" of them but this looks entirely too out of place.
Id probably like to put an LED strip back there like under my hood
Opinions?

Ill check my lighting situation when I get home, but I put in a LED for the rear dome and wow talk about bright. Ill check tonight for you and see how well if any it lights up the T-Top area in the hatch.
As far as those lights go I would not do that at all, looks way too out of place. If your handy enough you could maybe get some LED bulbs and get them working back there some how. LEDs are small enough to work and depending on what you come up with, you could have something not very bright or something that looks like a landing strip.

Here is what I did:

If I were to do it again though, I'd use LED strips instead of the CCFL tubes since they don't light quite as well after the car has sat a while.
More pics and info in the thread.

I did some custom lighting in one of the beds of my truck one time. I used some 12Volt rope lighting up under the rails. Came in what ever length you wanted. Can't remember for the life of me where I got it. But a quick search shows lots of options.
