the cut-off is only achieved with projectors... and once you go over 5000K it is too blue to see any cutoff. I had a green cutoff with my 3000K, rainbow with 4300k, and rainbow/purple with 5000K. Looks really cool when it bounces and flickers off road signs/etc

I have a set of Xentecs that my friend gave me for free when he sold his SS and I love them; granted, I got them as a gift but I really like mine. My good buddy has a DDM kit and side-by-side they're identical at night. Mine aren't as blue as yours but they're bright as hell.

It's hard to beat $36 but I honestly think you'll get tired of the 8k's. I have 6k's and wish I would have went with 4500-5k. On-coming traffic is going to hate you even if your drivers side light is adjusted down. They are going to blind the heck out of you in fog too. Not flaming just giving you a fair warning.

The lights aren't that blue. The phone messes with the color. Side by side with my neighbors benz you cant tell a difference. I've been driving around at night for about a week and haven't been flashed yet. If you correctly adjust your beams that wont be an issue.
As far as the signals the bulb that flashes is a white led bulb. The 194 bulb is blue. Not illegal since it doesn't flash. HOWEVER....did anyone notice the led strobes that are next to the high beams....those may be illegal....
